On the Page Lays Language

This one is a concrete poem: a human figure built entirely out of words, with an acrostic threaded down the broken lines and cryptic-crossword-style puzzles folded into the body. We figured retyping it would be unfair.

A concrete poem: dense justified text whose form spreads and breaks across the page.

And then — to be read after — the same words, poured into the shape of a man, with the acrostic and the puzzle solutions revealed:
